Before – Baby D, a month old child came to us with a difficulty to take breastfeed. The mother complained of a shallow latch and damaged nipples, alternative forms of feeding were attempted. Determined to find a solution, they approached us and he was diagnosed with a Type 4 Tongue-tie and Lip tie.
Treatment – frenotomy, followed by exercises, and regular follow-ups.
The result – In 6 weeks, Baby D was off any alternatives and was exclusively breastfeeding and continue to do so even now.
